TWILIGHTDAD READS BOOKS BY TELEPHONE "For those who think they are the only Twilight Guys out there, I'm here to say that it's just not true. Although I have yet to hear of any guy picking up the books of his own volition, there are plenty of us who have now read the books at the suggestion, recommendation, demand, ultimatum, or threat of physical violence from our lovely better halves. There are just very few of us who would ever admit it publicly. I myself am a father of 5 children who, just a few months ago became a single father of 5 children when my dear wife picked up the Twilight Series and became lost to the world for a few months (she has thankfully returned from the dead recently, at least until the next book comes out).I think it was sometime during her second time through the books when she suggested that I give them a try. More out of sheer puzzlement than actual interest, I cracked open the first book and wouldn't you know it, I got sucked in. So much so that when I went on a business trip the next week and took the book with me, only to finish it within a day or two, I actually called my wife up and had her read to me from the next book over the phone because I was too impatient to wait till I got back home.
