TwilightGuys Report: Twilight Saved Him From Class

TWILIGHT SAVED HIM FROM CLASS

So I had been hearing about Twilight for months. I mean MONTHS. I couldn’t escape the book. Every friend that I had that was a girl was raving about it. It was so irritating. They all kept telling me how much I would love the book. How much I was being stupid for NOT reading it.

Well I did finally get convinced to read it. I secretly hinted to my friend to bring it to me. She was being kinda dense, so I pulled her aside and was like “Bring me the stupid book all of you keep talking about.”

She smiled like she didn’t know what I was talking about. I sighed and was forced to say the words ” The one with the hot vampire.”

I had barely gotten the words out when she screeched as loudly as she could, and yelled Edward… in the middle of my high school cafeteria….with over 300 kids in it. Sad thing is, half of them (all girls) started gushing about him.

I got the book the next day and began reading it in my math class, absolutely trying to not like it.

Who would have thought that 20 minutes later I couldn’t put it down. I read the entire math class, missed the whole lesson, read all the way home, all night, didn’t do ANY of my homework. I swear I read non-stop until about 2 A.M. I only stopped because I did have to get up in 4 hours. Rinse, repeat.

It took me a day to finish Twilight, and I was dying to get the next book. By that point I was beyond trying to hide that I was already smitten. I just walked up to her and was like ” Please please PLEASE bring me New Moon.” She just giggled like a school girl and promised she would.

Inside of a week I had read the entire series (minus Breaking Dawn, because that hadn’t come out) and I had almost failed math because I kept reading during it. So thank you Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse. You saved from a boring class, and brought me into the best love story I have ever read. ”

  1. I know how that goes. . . I read during American Studies and finished before I got home. . .
    XD

  2. haha, i read during all my classes. i finished all 3 in a week too cuz i took them to school. my friend jake was watching me read in math class and asked y i was smiling so big. i just looked at him and said its a twilight thing 🙂

  3. “Rinse, repeat.” 😀 hahaha! I don’t really allow myself to read them in class anymore. This is only because I know I’d get really INTO it, ya kno? I would gasp and be all on edge, then melt into my seat, sighing and giggling. Everyone would probably stare and wonder about my sanity more than usual.

  5. KUDOS to you man!
Who needs math anyway? I think everyone should read novels during math, especially Twilight Saga novels ^-^

  6. he really shouldn’t read during class, even a boring one like math and math is my worst subject so i would probably fail, too. but my bff reads during almost all her classes and we have the same grades in all subjects! but i’m glad he read and liked the series! 🙂

  7. HAHAHA.
Good thing that Twilight was able to save you from a boring lesson. I can understand how that feels since i’m now reading Breaking Dawn during class too!
I just try my best not to be caught by my teacher or even fall behind my classes. Better back up before it gets too late!

  8. Breaking Dawn is a little big to lug around school and try to secretly pull out during a math lesson. I know my teachers would surely catch me!

  9. I cant even name how many times ive gotten yelled out for reading in class.
And not just math. Oh no. It was EVERY class.

  10. OMG I did that too! Mrs. B got SOO mad at me…-sighs- good thing you didn’t do it during pre-mid-term review week T-T Sophmore year is gonna be TOTAL review

  11. Awwwwww =] See! We just have to bug guys enough until we wear them down! Then we can have world domination. 🙂 Twilight will rule the world. haha

  12. Ha, I wouldn’t read in math class because of the risk of getting the book taken away from me. I’m glad those girls wouldn’t stop bugging him! 🙂

  13. Kaleb, I loved “Rinse. Repeat.” Excellent. I would advise “M”, to quit after “Eclipse” and wait for “Midnight Sun”. I wish that I had. Sorry, Stephenie.

  14. hehe it brought me back to wen i was sitting in class and a sub was walking to the back of the class and caught me reading eclipse grr she took the book away

  15. Do you fix grammatical errors because some of these Teenagers speak very well for their age.

  16. awl…how cute…”…and brought me into the best love story I have ever read.” How adorable!!!!

  17. Just wanted to say I absolutely adore your site and yourself. You have no idea how many times you have cracked me up. I think it’s great what you’re doing between reading the books/posting twilight guy stories…good stuff;^)

  18. Lol. He almost failed math for a book. I wouldn’t mind dropping out of school if it were for Twilight.

  19. HaHa! That was funny.
I’m so proud of you dude.
I know I took all the books to school and read them through ALL my classes. But then the teachers started yelling at me to put the book down so I didn’t have a choice but that doesn’t mean I didn’t read at lunch, in between classes, before and after school….

  20. Reading during class is the best! Except for when your teacher takes away your book…I got in trouble for yelling at my teacher when she put her dirty hands on my copy of Twilight, haha. :]

  21. I read in Math all the time.
Me and my teacher have an “understanding”.
He won’t bug me while I’m reading, and I’ll stop doodling instead of taking notes. 😀

  22. haha, I’ve been told to “put the book down and pay attention” in class a few times.

It’s not my fault some books are more interesting than being in school!

  23. haha same thing happened to me! 😀

    Totally agree with you Becky

  24. Thank you for making the honest effort to discuss this. I feel very sturdy about it and would like to learn more. If its OK, as you achieve extra in depth knowledge, could you mind adding more articles very similar to this one with additional info? It might be extraordinarily helpful and useful for me and my friends.
