A guy reads Twilight by Stephenie Meyer (2009-2011)

Twicon 2009…in Dallas

As many of you have heard, an enormous Twilight convention is being held July 30 – August 2, 2009, called Twicon. Last night, on a live BlogTV broadcast, the organizers of the event announced the location would be in my own Dallas, Texas.

Among a growing list of guests will be Evil Iguana Productions, Bailey (NoMoreMarbles), a huge group of fansites and vendors, and myself. More guests will be added as they are confirmed. I will be participating in panels and in different events at Twicon, and I’m so excited for how it will turn out!

Twicon will be one of very few events for Twilight I will be appearing at before I have to focus on my book, so it will be a wonderful opportunity to get to meet as many Twilighters as I can! It has been predicted that this will sell out pretty quickly. Remember an important fact: special guests might be added after all the tickets are gone. And when they are already sold out, and someone special signs on, tickets could be very very expensive on eBay. So if you are thinking about coming, it might be a good idea to look into tickets ASAP.

I am not exactly involved in the planning or administration of Twicon, so please do not email any more questions to me about it unless it is regarding my appearance at the event. More info on the event is at Twicon.org. I will also be posting more info as I get it on the event or any other appearances I will be making in the coming year. Hope to see you there!
