He took the time to try to understand what it was that captivated her, not even realizing he would get hooked, and then he did something beautiful and romantic that would mean something special to them, took what some of you are calling an unoriginal idea and made it a memory for the rest of their lives. "Sane" Girl, that was rather... well, rude. He knows she really likes the books and Edward, so he did that for her, and she clearly appreciated it. What's wrong with that?

Um... I actually would be kind of disappointed. My fiancee and I will not be Bella and Edward, and I'm glad. A guy and girl being that obsessed and over-the-top with each other is weird. It's a cute book to read, but seriously. No thanks. Love is not saying things like "Sleep, my only love," and just watching your girlfriend sleep for hours on end every night.

And she responded with "oh my Cullen?" To getting engaged? I would be downright embarrassed to tell my future children and grandchildren that.

That is possibly the sweetest thing I've ever heard that is not fictional. The only real thing that could possibly beat it was... well, long story.
