This is damn near what I had pictured. Although the ones in my head were a little bit bigger because of a quote in BD where Bella is quoted as scrambling onto his back but oh wellll it still looks AWESOME.

This is almost exactly how I pictured them looking. I just thought they would look a little less like actual wolves and be all one color. Jacob looks fierce though. I love it. haha

I think it looks like poo. I am so turned away from the movie right now. The wolf looks like a cartoon.

in the movie jacob is small compared to the rest of the wolves

Well, let's not forget…we don't SEE Wolf Jacob next to anyone, so we can't accurately compare him. The closest person we can conclude is Bella, who's all the way in the back. For all we know, if she walked up to him at that point, he could come up to her shoulders or whatnot! XD
and I see a lot of reddish brown in the wolf, just like the book says. It's mostly on the top half of his body, but hey, they did a pretty darn good job. I think the creators of this movie know better than to screw up New Moon, especially since Twilight left room for a LOT of improvements.
I just hope they DON'T rush the storyline, and make the movie a little longer to span things out…that was the biggest problem.

this is awesome. I was afraid Chris Weitz might have his own twisted version of a werewolf. I watched this for the first time and my heart stopped when he burst into a wolf.

everyone on here is really bumming me out. if you knew anything about film editing and CGI you would be able to maturely understand that they wont ever be able to make it look like a real wolf. it looks pretty damn good for what CGI can do. And im saying this as a future film student and who is friends with a director. So please quit complaining. Id like you to go out and make this film and see how much better you can make it.

Hmmm… I imagined the werewolves not looking quite that much like actual wolves… It seems that he should be a looot huskier. He better be gigantic compared to Bella!

and kinda like the wolf from the lion the witch and the wardrobe but not the same colours

Unless you can do better, I suggest you stop hatin'!!!!!!! But hey, what do I know? If this work was not done by Industrial Light and Magic then they(ILM) better start moving over for the other guys in town.

The wolves look really fake, imo, and not all that scary either. They are not even realistic looking for wolves, I think they could have come up with something better. They even move like a cartoon. Why could they not have done something like the Golum character in Lord of the Rings? Now THAT was realistic looking!
