A guy reads Twilight by Stephenie Meyer (2009-2011)

Come See Me On Tour!

As many of you know, I have my own book that will be out in about two weeks (on 9/9/09!) called Bran Hambric: The Farfield Curse. My publishers have just announced that I will be going on a 13-city book tour across the United States, and I’m extremely excited to finally get to meet a lot of my blog readers and people who enjoy my videos!

Even though there aren’t any cold, sparkling, E.C.-initial-bearing vampires in MY novel, if you’re just a fan of twilightguy.com or my writing, I’d love to meet you at one of the tour stops! Here are the dates and places I will be if anyone wants to come say hi (and if you can’t make it, I’ll be posting photos and stuff on Twitter the whole time)!

  1. Everyone always goes to Anderson's! Grrr! I used to live in Naperville, but now I live in Kansas City, so I never get to see authors anymore!!!

  2. WOOOO! I will definitely be skipping school on 9/30, just saying! 4 hour drive to Illinois, NO problem!

  3. Aw! No dallas! Cut some slack for your homies in D-town! Lol jkayy but since it's in Houston I'll try going to that one since it's around my birthday too! So it can be my gift(:
but if not, I'm already ordering your book so I'm getting it the day it comes out but other than that luck! And I hope your book is EXTREMELY succesful!!

  4. Sweet! You're coming to SLC. Maybe I will come if the planets are aligned correctly (that means if there are no other conflicts).

  5. *EPIC SOB* Your not coming to Oregon or Washington????? How could this be?? Its not fair! This is not ok! I wanted to meet you! You are like the best person in the world!

  6. Aw. You're not coming to Pennsylvania? Come on, Philadelphia served as the capital of the United States from 1790 to 1800, and it's only an hour away from me! That's important, isn't it?!

Dang, that's already two disappointments today, and I only got up 20 minutes ago. :[

Oh, and out of curiousity, would you be signing autographs, by any chance? I know someone in Naperville, IL. Maybe they'll get one for me and mail it here.

  7. UGH! I work every Monday and Tuesday and this isn't the sort of job where I can call in sick! Luckily my cousin lives in Provo,UT so I'll send her to your book tour and beg her to get your autograph for me. I'm so sad to be missing your tour when it's so close to me!

  8. I know right. Two in Houston and none in Dallas. Who schedualed this thing. We want a recount.

  9. OME!!! No place in the 'true South' ;o) represented!!! Atlanta, Birmingham & Orlando seriously get overlooked when it comes to book tours! I know you probably have no say in the city choices so no biggie, but we will miss you over here. Thank goodness for pre-order so that I will at least have you in spirit when my book arrives. I hope all the other followers make this a good tour!

  10. Of Course the time you come to utah im not going to be able to go there goes my October! >_< o well just write another book then come to salt lake when i can come and I can get both of them signed then!! ^_^

  11. I can't believe you're not coming to Florida. I lived in Houston for decades, and now that I'm in Florida, everyone goes to Houston. Don't make me fly back just for your booksigning. Come to the Sunshine State.

  12. AUUUUUUUUUUSTIN!
I'll so be there Kaleb, I love Book People, and I've always wanted to meet you
    Cant Wait!

  13. Kaleb, if you have time to go sightseeing while in San Jose, DEMAND that someone take you to Santa Cruz. It's not that far away (maybe half an hour? hour tops in traffic) and Main Street Santa Cruz is worth seeing. Especially at dusk. This is a city KNOWN for being weird. The town motto is (I kid you not) “Keep Santa Cruz Weird”. Anyways, you need to go there and have a cookie from the Pacific Cookie Company. BEST. COOKIES. EVER. Also, you should visit Pizza My Heart. Regularly voted best pizza in Santa Cruz. If you feel like being touristy, check out the boardwalk (which may be closed down this late in the season, I can't remember). Alternatively, there are thrift shops and bookstores (used and new) lining Main street. Some detective work miiight yield you the location of The Buttery, which is a fabulous sandwich/bakery shop… and if you just want chocolate… hit up Chocolat on main street. The Chcolat Orgy is to die for…. you'll need help to eat it if your order it! And if you still have time, take Highway One south to Capitola and go look at 41st street. The beach there is small but gorgeous… and the surfing can be epic to watch.

Heck, if I didn't live in Long Beach (Yes, I AM going to be at the Huntington store) and I hadn't been to Santa Cruz just this last week for my 4th wedding anniversary, and classes were NOT about to start next week – then I would offer to take you there and show you one of the most beautiful, strange, fun places on the planet. Where else can you be ten minutes from the beach and ten minutes from giant, towering redwood trees?

  14. Just like Stephenie's tours. No one comes to the Boise area. Your fan bases are huge. Get on over here!

  15. YES!!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!! You are coming to Salt Lake!!!! I LOVE YOU KALEB!! I will see you there!!!!

  16. i know right?! Birmingham is like the 11th fastest growing city in the nation! and what about atlanta and orlando theyre HUGE i live near birmingham so im a bit depressed:( sadness kaleb!

  17. Well done, Kaleb! You're going on tour! When you're rich and famous, come visit Little ol' England ok? We love you here. 😀
    Have a tonne of fun!
    Rebecca.

  18. Amazon shipped your book a couple of days ago and I have it in my hands! Can't wait to sit down and enjoy your story! I would love to catch up with you in San Jose so I can have you sign it! :o) What an exciting rush it must be to have all this happen! Congratulations!

  19. Kaleb your AWESOME and I can't wait to read Bran Hambric! Will you ever come to DC?? I hope so!!!!

  20. What i do not realize is if truth be told how you are no longer actually a lot more smartly-preferred than you may be right now. You’re very intelligent. You know thus significantly in the case of this topic, produced me in my opinion believe it from a lot of numerous angles. Its like women and men are not interested except its one thing to do with Woman gaga! Your own stuffs outstanding. Always care for it up!

  21. An interesting discussion will probably be worth comment. Im sure that you ought to write much more about this topic, may possibly not become a taboo subject but usually everyone is not enough to communicate on such topics. To the next. Cheers
