Only CH could do it. Go back and watch Twilight and look at Edward, listen to the music, and feel the overpowering emotion. Then watch new moon and wonder what's wrong with the way edward looks, why the music doesn't go, why the movie feel rushed, why the heck they get on an elevator in Italy, and ultimately why don't you feel anything during the movie.

Chris Weitz… I'm so glad that Catherine Hardwick didn't direct new moon. that would have been a travesty to not have the awesome new moon we have now and instead some crappy version of it. but when I think about it chirs weitz may not be what breaking dawn needs after the some what I hear darker Eclipse…

what about james cameron???? titanic ring a bell? not only does he know how to portray a beautiful love story on screen but he's super experienced with special effects!!! hes got my vote and i know others who agree

I love what Chris Weitz has done with New Moon. The colors look amazing (far more than Twilight) and everyone in general looks great in the movie. I also loved what he did with The Golden Compass (great CGI effects). I think he'd be an excellent choice or maybe Alfonso Cuaron.
