This has become an annual occurrence. Last time it was around April Fools Day. I still can’t believe all the people who were fooled then.
If you don’t believe me you can always just look at Stephenie’s site.
Just thought everyone here would like to know, since I’m obviously number 1 on Google when you search “Stephenie Meyer Dead“. Now that is some very uplifting trivia for you.

Wouldn't a better rumor to spread be that Stephenie Meyer is UNDEAD? That would at least make sense.

yikes – people can be so gullible about stuff like this. maybe they never read real news, so they can't tell what's fake? sigh. i'll admit i was a bit thrown at first, but just a little research showed that it wasn't true, so.

It's really annoying me this! How can people be fooled so easily!?! It's clearly a hoax that's just gotten out of hand. Whoever started this rumor is sick. If it's meant to be funny, then they are very twisted. And why would she kill herself? She has a loving family and devoted fans. From what I can tell, she's not the type to go and overdose!
