A Breaking Dawn Honeymoon Scene — Still PG-13?

With new photos from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn movie now released, some people are wondering if the filmmakers can still keep the movie PG-13 without losing important parts of the story. I discuss on today’s 60SR show!

  1. I think it should be PG-13 for several reasons. Mostly, because it doesn't need to be rated R. Why do you need sex scenes to have a good story? Though, as witnessed in tons of movies, you can have a steamy scene and still have the movie be PG-13. Plus, it's not like the book showed any of the sex scenes, so why would showing them in the movie be important to the plot? It doesn't make any sense to me at all.

  2. Why not just let it all hang out, beach scene, bedroom scene full birthing scene…its gonna get gross. I say Rated R. The twilight kids should be reaching 17 by now, right?

  3. it should br rated r stay true to the book! they can release a pg 13 version for the young ones!!!

  4. PG-13. The books were written for teenagers (though many of us fans haven't been teenagers for a long time) and so the movies should be appropriate for that age group. I'm nearly 38 years old and have no interest in an rated R version of Breaking Dawn.

  5. PG-13. stephenie didn't write this saga for children, she wrote it because it was the story inside her that couldn't be contained. therefore it appeals to all ages. the book stays pg-13, so should the movie.

  6. i think it should be pg 13 because if it's not that would be pretty stupid and they will lose almost all the fans, even though some of those riskay scenes happen in the book stephenie meyer kind of blacks them out that is all they need to do in the movie we will still get details without watching all that stuff that only nasty people would want to watch

  7. PG 13 all the way – go to R and they have to throw crap in there that does not belong. PG 13 is not what it was in the 90s….it's more risque and revealing. I think they'll do fine. Sides – let's keep the perspective right on what the movie is about – not blood and gore (not a clear cup Rose) but rather the intricacies of the love between an incubus and a human girl who we all love! As well as the truce changing between the Quileute wolf pack and the Cullen Vamps. 🙂 LOVE IT!

  8. really in the book they never go into detail they just allude to what is happening so why should the movie be any different. in that respect it would still be a PG13 movie. the only way it would be R is if they take away the allusion and go into detail.
